This Privacy Policy explains how Mandiraa Mondal (“I”, “me”, “my”) collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit mandiraamondal.in (the “Site”). I am an artist based in Mumbai, India.

2. Information I collect

• Contact form: your name, email address, subject (optional) and message.
• Emails and messages you send me directly.
• Technical information collected automatically, such as IP address, browser type, device, pages visited and time of visit. This appears in server logs and security tools.
• Cookies: the Site uses cookies needed for it to work and stay secure. [If you use analytics: and cookies from Google Console to understand how the Site is used.]
• Fonts: the Site may load fonts from Google Fonts. When it does, your browser connects to Google, which may receive your IP address.

I do not ask for payment details, and the Site does not sell products.

3. Why I use your information

• To reply to enquiries about artworks, exhibitions, commissions and permissions.
• To keep the Site secure and working properly.

By submitting the contact form you agree to me using your details for these purposes. You can withdraw that consent at any time (see section 7).

4. Sharing

I do not sell or rent your information. It may be handled by service providers that help run the Site, such as my hosting provider (GoDaddy), my email provider Gmail and Google Console. They may only use it to provide their services. I may also disclose information if the law or a government authority requires it.

5. Storage and transfers

Your information may be stored on servers outside India, depending on where my hosting provider operates. I take reasonable steps to protect it.

6. How long I keep it

I keep enquiries for up to [12] months after our last contact, or longer if we have an ongoing arrangement (for example, a commission) or the law requires it. After that I delete them.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 as its provisions come into force, you may ask me to:

• tell me which of your information I hold and why;
• correct or update it;
• delete it;
• withdraw your consent; or
• address a complaint about how I have handled it.

Email mandira77@gmail.com with your request. I will reply within a reasonable time, ordinarily within [30] days. If I cannot resolve your complaint, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India once it is operational.

8. Security

I use reasonable measures such as HTTPS, updated software and limited access. No online system is completely secure, so I cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

The Site is not directed at children under 18, and I do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent me information, email me and I will delete it.

10. Cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may affect how the Site works.

11. Links to other sites

The Site may link to other websites. I am not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

12. Changes

I may update this policy. The latest version will always be on this page with its effective date.
